EDIT: They called me the same day and asked what they could do to make it better. It seems to have been a misunderstanding overall between what info the call center got and the main shop. They were able to compensate me for my time and gas lost and they gave me a very cordial call apologizing. I am updating my review star rating overall. I recommend them if you don’t have an imported vehicle ha. ORIGINAL REDACTED AND OUTDATED REVIEW: June 19 in the morning, the young lady at the front desk proceeded to tell me that they don’t service my type of vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous that they don’t tell you ahead of time or over the phone or anything. They don’t pay attention to the details it seems, decided to go to another spot instead, they were willing to accept my vehicle for servicing. ~ Enrique C

Updated 12/7/24 I originally wrote my review with my interactions with Carlos who I was told was the manager by him. I did not have a pleasant experience with him nor his work. Since then the owner Anastasia reached to me to help rectify the concerns. She listened to me and was very apologetic that she wasn’t informed about my concerns from Carlos. She informed me that Carlos was not working there anymore due to ongoing concerns. I believe she really cares about her company and customer satisfaction. I appreciate her attentiveness and helping to come to a resolution. I have edited my review to reflect the positive interactions I’ve had with the owner and not to judge the company off of one bad employee who isn’t there anymore. I saw Black Optix Tint on the gram and I thought I would give them a try. They have a special so the timing was right. Their use of technology is phenomenonal. They check to see if you have questions. Check to see what you want and they give you options on the types of service available. The location is in an industrial park but there is a waiting room or coffee shops close by that offer free wifi while you wait. Their location is clean and they show you the options with samples to help make the best decision for your purchase. There are many choices on getting window tint. But this place checks all the boxes. Professional, clean environment, and they are authentic in wanting to make sure you make the best choice. Stopped into Black Optix tint on a Saturday to get my windows tinted. I was taking a gamble on a Saturday morning but I figured I would try since my first place I went to turned out to be a little sketchy. Unfortunately there were no walk in spots available so I made my appointment for Monday afternoon. Arrived at my scheduled time, but there were still cars being worked on. I believe they started about 30 minute after my scheduled time. I got tint on the rear of my car only. I am sure if you are getting full tint then your wait time will be longer. They also offer 3 different levels of tint as well as different percentages based on your preference. The service was quick once they started on my vehicle. I am pleased with the results. ~ Shayla M

Layla and her team are a 10/10 amazing. Wonderful customer service as she help many customers came in and diagnosed the differences in the tint and what they offer and help find what the customer preferred. I will say the only draw back is the queue from how BUSY these guys are, and I see why. Very much in demand. I will say call to schedule afterwards when that time arrives bring stuff with you to keep you busy for the time or another vehicle to go out with and come back when ready. But other than with how busy they are, I can say definitively I will be back for another time with my other vehicles and bring more customers her way. I recently purchased a 2024 Cadillac Lyriq and was looking for a reputable tint shop to tint my 2 front windows. Everything was amazing! From booking my appt online, the customer service, the friendly reminders of when my appt was, and the best part is, the tint job met my expectations so much so, I took it back the next day and tinted my front windshield. Unfortunately, it's not going to pass inspection in VA with the tint, so I’ll have to remove it. The good thing is, I have 9 months to enjoy how beautiful it looks! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Dimitri, and he was super pleasant and explained in detail other services they offer. The tints turned out good. They left tint peelings all over my car though. I'd have greatly appreciated the attention to detail after the 3.5 hours it took to install. Other things of note that frustrated me were the tools that they left in my car after finishing, that I ended up returning to them. Only to find more tools and screws later! In addition to this, the temp tag propped in the back of my window was removed and not replaced, causing me to get a ticket the next day! I'd recommend this place for any active promos but do your own checks when they finish. EDIT: Management got in touch with me and made things right. Update*** Spoke with the manager Layla, and was able to bring my car back in to get the issue fix. Everything went smoothly and was in and out within 30 mins. She was very professional in handling the issue I had with the tint. Everyone involved did a great job. Seeing how they respond to their customers concerns and actually care about the situation, I would definitely go back in the future if needed for any upgrades to my car. (Note: not all places will care to help and solve the issue, but this place does. ) Thank you again. Came because of the high ratings. Had an appointment on the weekend at 3pm and didn’t get in until 5pm. If we had to wait an extra two hours why not just give us a call back to reschedule instead of overbooking clients. The driver side definitely felt rushed since they were closing at 6:30pm. We were done a little before closing time. Driver side also has noticeable scratches on the tint. ~ Lien L

Had my truck windows tinted a couple of weeks ago and am SO glad I chose Black Optix Tint! I was a little hesitant after reading a few negative reviews but Rico and Star absolutely exceeded my expectations. They finished the job quickly and with the highest level of quality. They were even able to match my factory-tinted rear windows to the tint I wanted on the rest of the windows. Absolutely 10/10. Don't go anywhere else!!! This shop is top notch, and truly cares about customer service. I had some confusion about certain pricing, services, and policies about the company. The owner was quick to call me and clarify all concerns I had. I gotta be 100% transparent. It’s very nerve-wrecking to just “leave” your car there, but when I went back a new hours later to pick up my baby, I couldn’t have been happier with the results! We ended up asking them if they could do my wife’s car “last-minute” and they said “sure thing, no problem!” When they could have just said “come back tomorrow”. I did some shopping around before I decided on which shop to go with to tint my car. I’m glad I went with Black Optix in Springfield! They were helpful, friendly, and professional. Quick and fast experience. I scheduled one day prior through the online website and they were quick to respond with a phone call. Overall great experience, just regret not optioning the darker percentage for the front windows. I didn't catch a name, but the worker at the front was professional and knowledgeable. I asked for 20% for the rear and 35% for the front. No issues with the tint as of now. ~ Francois L

I love this place. After doing my research and comparing prices Black Optix Tint offered the best price according to my judgement. It took them about 3 1/2 hours to complete the work and they do offer a drop off service which i would recommend doing.
